Apart from initial tidying and editing of spreads, their main difficulty concerned was not using the grid for the Quark Express layout software they used to produce the magazine. This I introduced, making finished spreads much smarter and professional. Additionally they asked me to construct a survey form for their readers, concerning aspects of improving the magazine. Designed on two colour plates only, to keep costs to a minimum, using their logos, the design was intricate and demanding, however very rewarding when finished.
